Managing homelessness

Managing homelessness

NPS Housing includes specialist functionality designed to manage homelessness.

As part of the initial eligibility assessment, if a homeless case is identified, it can be fast tracked which includes the placement and management of the family or individual within emergency or temporary accommodation.

A configurable high level eligibility process can be used to establish homeless needs and priority (Housing Advice and Options), followed by management of the case using a specific homeless list (Allocations), against which available temporary accommodation options can be linked.  At the same time, the individual or family can be automatically placed on a permanent housing waitlist.  The progression of the case, and the information to achieve the necessary decision points, are managed using user-defined stages, questions and answers
